2012 has proven to be a prosperous year musically for the drum and bass heavyweights GEIN. First and foremost, the duo’s label, Bad Chemistry Recordings, came out firing this year with the highly anticipated “Pentagram EP” with Counterstrike, setting the standard for the label’s direction. Not to be pigeonholed, the label quickly followed up with heavyweight dubstep remixes from the likes of Sinister Souls and former GEIN member, Blacqix. The list goes on and on.
With a growing fanbase, GEIN decided it was time to do the next installment of Bad Chemistry Podcast. For anyone thinking the duo went soft, prepare to be proven wrong. Spanning more than just the drum and bass bpm range, GEIN seamlessly fuses many of their latest projects with tracks from fellow Bad Chemistry label mates and producers who they have supported since the beginning.

Its official GEIN fans! As promised, we bring you something special today… a chance to remix a GEIN tune, and get a release on Bad Chemistry Recordings, as well as a few little extras.
1. All entries must be received by March 31st, 2012. The ONLY way to submit tracks will be by finishing your remix, making a 128k MP3, and uploading it to your personal SOUNDCLOUD page. You must upload the whole track, but NOT make it available for download. Then you can send us a PRIVATE link on soundcloud to listen to your entries. The PRIVATE part is very important, as we do not want any outside influences in judging. Once we narrow the entries down, we will ask you for a full 320 MP3 for final judging. Any submissions that are made available for download, made public, or used in online mixes or given away will NOT be accepted.
2. All copyrighted samples must only be used for remixing this track. Any people using these samples for anything else will be beaten
3. Be creative.
4. Once again, do NOT give out the tune to your friends, ect. until we are done judging.
A brief chat with American drum & bass duo Gein (aka Adam Darby and Ronny Eremija) leads us through their new release with Dieselboy‘s Human Imprint, touches on hometown scene politics, introduces their label Bad Chemistry and the whole thing comes together with an exclusive mix packed with new music.
Since the last Skinsuit Sessions mix, we have been holding back to bring you a new mix with a lot of our forthcoming material. It contains a lot of the forthcoming Bad Chemistry Recordings material, plus tracks we have done for other labels as well as stuff we have been supporting. We hope you enjoy.
