MacheeeN Boi grew up on a diet of drumming and basketball until his infatuation with raving and core began in his late teens. He has been DJing for 10 years, running Sustained Records since 2008 and organising lots of heavyweight raves along the way. He has been producing for the past 2 years, often collaborating with, and learning from the label crew. A couple of his collabs with The Teknoist have been released on Sustained Records and Samurai Brylkream.
Though confessing to be an amateur in the studio his DJ sets pack an undoubted punch. He has been referred to (by a totally biased source) as “one of only a handful of DJ’s that keep you interested for every single, jaw dropping minute of their DJ sets”. This reputation has seen him regularly perform across the UK, occasionally venturing into Europe. He is imminently going travelling / touring for the next year around South America, New Zealand and Australia. With a veracious appetite for manipulating sound waves, pushing new music and destroying dance floors, no matter where you are, expect to hear more from him soon.
